Dementia Coma in Functional Medicine

As a functional diagnostic medicine practitioner, Dr. Jay has studied functional medicine principles and practices with the top practitioners around the world.  A leading curriculum on the subject is available to licensed professionals. The enrollment is at limited times, but if you don’t get in this time, you can reserve a spot for the future. One aspect of functional diagnostic medicine is knowing about the immune system, the brain’s functioning, and toxic effects of chemicals and other substances on the brain that could lead to dementia. Many chemicals are neurotoxic, meaning that they damage nerve cells and nerve tissues. Parkinson’s, dementia, Alzheimer’s, alcoholic dementia, MS (multiple sclerosis) and other demyelinating diseases often have a chemical damage Dementia and Coma Preventioncomponent to their development and progression. Thus, a doctor MUST ADDRESS this to deal with underlying causes. Chemical toxicity is relatable to dementia and coma in acute situations.. Dr. Jay has spoken on this topic extensively before the general community and professionals as well. He has also appeared as a medical expert on TV news talk shows. You can call The Redwood Clinic at 510-849-1176 to see if Dr. Jay might be available for a keynote presentation on this topic to your group or professional association. Even pigs in a hot tub need memory evaluation

“I think you need a memory evaluation.”

Why Memory Evaluation?

As fully discussed in the two bestselling books, evaluation of memory is a very important thing to have done periodically. Have it done by someone trained in this area because without your memory you lose your education, your experiences, and your “who I am.” A complete evaluation is important as a baseline, then reassessment every year at minimum is reasonable; but it must be with someone who knows what should be tested.  There are many approaches to evaluate a person’s memory capacity.  There are also the issues of short term, medium term, and long term memory function. These different capabilities should each be considered.  These distinctions are important for a person’s long term health and longevity.  Also to support a person’s continued participation in society.  For a memory evaluation call The Redwood Clinic at +1-510-849-1176.
